Margibi University

The Office of Admissions, Records and Registration is responsible for overall recruitment and enrolment of students as well as the management of students’ records, including the analysis of student grades.

Admission to Margibi University is a privilege rendered to high school graduates who show a record of good performance. In addition to the results of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Entrance and Placement Examinations are given to students who apply for admission at Margibi University.

Students who graduate with Division I and II scores in the WEAC are automatically eligible for admission at the University. Candidates in Division III are required to sit for the Entrance and Placement Examinations prior to admission.

Margibi University is located in Harbel City, Lower Margibi County. Persons who write and pass the Entrance and Placement Examinations must submit the following required documents:

•  Application Form
•  WAEC Certificate
•  High School Diploma
•  High School Transcript (sent directly from your last school in an sealed envelope)
•  Three letters of Recommendations (from Last School Attended, Community leader/employer and Religious Leader)
•  A recent medical certificate from a recognized health institution (not valid for more than six months)
•  Career Objective/Letter of Intent
•  Two Passport Size Photos
•  One green hanging folder and one yellow file

All letters of recommendation MUST be submitted in a sealed envelope with the signature of the recommender across the seal. Any letter with unsealed or broken seal will not be accepted. We require all applicants to Margibi University to exhibit high levels of integrity and honesty in presenting their document for admissions as we will not admit any student with falsified documents!

Upon receiving the required documents, the Admissions Committee will review all documents to determine eligibility for admissions. When all requirements for admissions are met, including a successful pass in the University Entrance and Placement Examinations, the Dean of Admissions will issue a formal letter of admission enrolling the student as to the University.
