Academic Affairs

The Division of Academic Affairs through its vice president, has primary responsibility for setting the academic mission of Margibi University and directing the academic focus, and implementing activities to meet its mission at the undergraduate and graduate and professional studies levels. Academic Affairs guides the academic short-and long-range institutional plan of the University. The Division provides oversight for faculty and non-teaching staff, and divisional budget planning. The division has oversight responsibility for the following areas:
•  Certificates and Professional Studies
•  Undergraduate Colleges and Programs
•  Graduate Schools and Programs
•  Faculty Research Collaboration
•  Campus Deans

To shape the educational experience of students, the Division of Academic Affairs collaborates with other division across the University. Academic Affairs is responsible for upholding academic standards and policies established by the faculty and administration, and overseeing all aspects of the University curriculum. The Division of Academic Affairs provides support to academic affairs administrators, staff, faculty, and students in realizing their goals. Academic Affairs is charged with overseeing all services related to the teaching, learning, and research, and service activities on and off campus.
